Look what we found! As Diane and I were driving around Tennessee enjoying a day of sightseeing, we decided to stop at a convenience store in Lawrenceburg. Upon returning to our vehicle I heard what sounded like a cat's meow. Looking around and seeing nothing, I proceeded toward our truck. Diane was already getting into the truck when I heard it again. Determined to find the source I followed the sound to a propane exchange rack. No visual evidence of a cat, but I could tell that the sound was originating from underneath. Kneeling down on one knee I peered through the small gap between the metal rack and it's cement base. There she was looking back at me. When our eyes met she meowed with great enthusiasm, simultaneously reaching out to me with her paw, very much like you see in the 1st photo below. We call her Sprite since I had just purchased a Sprite cold drink.
