Changes Ahead for Thread Sketched

Changes are in store for Thread Sketched, now that we are living full time in our Airstream. Downsizing being the obvious difference, organization of space in the Airstream, and the truck, is critical. We will continue to participate as vendors at quilt and fiber art shows, but we will have to find ways to carry everything we need for each show, within the Airstream, or the Beast (our truck), and still have room for Diane, me, and our three cats to live in peace and harmony. Our "home base" when not on the road will be in Loganville, GA, at my parent's house. They were kind enough to let us create a pad in their back yard for our Airstream, where we can stay with full hook ups when we visit. Thanks Mom and Dad! We will try not to over stay our welcome! We will begin our next journey in a week or two. Headed North, and West. Check our blog every few weeks to follow along on our journey!

Our New Home

We bought an Airstream! We actually picked it up back in November, 2017, and have traveled to California and back already. Since then, we have decided that our business will revolve around where we travel. Obviously, we are downsizing quite a bit, so if it won't fit in the Airstream, or our truck, we will do without. My Baby Lock Alliance embroidery machine will ride in the truck with me, Diane, and our two cats. Everything else will ride in the Airstream. This page will become a mix of business and leisure. Feel free to check back every now and then for updates as our "Thread Sketched" business journey evolves.
