While we were camped at the Joe Skeen campground, we visited El Morro, which is also located in western New Mexico and served as a stopping place for travelers through an arid and desolate region. Many of the travelers left signatures in the walls of the sandstone cliffs. There is a small pool of water at the base of the sandstone cliffs that served as an oasis for many travelers.
A web log full of stuff that admittedly appeals to a very small audience.
