El Malpais National Monument - Joe Skeen Campground

Great dry camping site in western New Mexico. After World War II, the Bureau of Land Management became the administrator of the area. In 1987, President Ronald Reagan designated El Maloais a unit of the National Park Service. It is jointly managed with the nearby El Morro National Monument.

I Am Thankful

I am thankful for so many things in my life. Four years ago when I was still principal, I wrote the following column for the PTSA newsletter and titled it, "I Am Thankful."
