- We Digitize Machine Embroidery Designs - We especially enjoy designing simple line sketches using black thread on white fabric, which have the appearance of pen and ink on paper. We then like to add color to the designs using Derwent Inktense Pencils and/or Blocks because they provide the appearnce of watercolor paintings.
- We Digitize Longarm E2E Pantograph Designs - Check our website ThreadSketched.com for access to designs.
- We Provide Inktense Watercolor Demonstration - In addition to guild presentations, we set up a demonstraion table in our booth at quilt shows to demonstrate the many uses of Derwent Inktense Pencils and Blocks.

- There are many ways to use Derwent Inktense Pencils and Blocks. I have listed a few below:
- Draw or color directly onto fabric (cotton, silk, natural fiber), then add water, or aloe vera gel, or textile medium. Experimentation is key. Using water to saturate what you have drawn or colored achieves a "bleeding" of color, and can be difficult to control. Using aloe vera gel to saturate what you have drawn or colored provides a little more control of the "bleeding". Using textile medium provides the most effective control of color, but does leave a slight stiffness.
- Saturate an area of fabric, then draw or color that area. Experimentation is key. Once again there will be less control with water, better control with gel, and best with textile medium.
- A link to a YouTube "How To" video is posted on my website: ThreadSketched.com
