Stephens State Park

Camping at Stephens State Park in Crawfordville, GA, for seven nights including the holiday weekend. Staying at site #1 in the equestrian section of the park. It was more secluded than the main campground, and seeing the horses adds interest.




Hiked to a lake on the campground property.

Wichita Falls - Texas

We enjoyed a brief stay at the city campground in Wichita Falls, Texas. Site #20. Electrical hookups, water, and a dump station are available for a reasonable price. We walked to Jason's Deli for dinner. The river that runs next to the park was extremely high. Pretty much had the park to ourselves

Wash Day

Washing the Airstream before we head out. Won't have the opportunity again for a while. Planning to make it to Tennessee on Monday. Not making reservations, but I have some locations in mind. We are planning to do a lot of dry camping (no hookups) along the way. We prefer State and National Parks and Forests, and public Bureau of Land Management (BLM) campgrounds over private RV parks.
